Start with a clean source
Sign on plain paper using the ink colour required by the form. Photograph it straight from above in even light, or scan the page. Make sure shadows, ruled lines, and your fingers do not cover the signature.
Crop away unnecessary paper using your device’s photo editor before resizing. Leave a small margin around the complete signature so that the first and last strokes are not cut off. ToolSaathi resizes the image you provide; it does not remove the background or create a signature for you.
Match the form’s requirements
- Check the form’s required file format, width, height, and maximum file size. Signature requirements vary between portals.
- Open Resize signature and select the cropped image.
- Enter the required pixel dimensions. Keep the signature’s proportions in mind: stretching a narrow signature into a square makes it harder to recognise.
- Generate the result and inspect it at its actual size. All strokes should remain visible, with enough contrast against the background.
- Download your file. If its size is above the portal’s limit, use Compress image and inspect the compressed copy again.
Keep the right copy
Give the downloaded file a simple name so it is easy to find in the upload dialog. Open it once more before submitting and keep the original separately in case another form needs different dimensions.
